This is a fast-paced game designed to help you practice intensifying adverbs—words like very, really, absolutely, and strongly that make other words stronger.

Grammar Rules to Remember

Before you start, here are the key rules this game will test:

  • For Emotions: Use deeply or completely.
    • Example: "That is why art so deeply impacts us."
  • For Probabilities: Use extremely with words like likely or unlikely.
    • Example: "I think it's extremely likely that they are the future."
  • For Opinions & Beliefs: Use strongly or firmly with words like believes or convinced.
    • Example: "McCandless strongly believes that visualization helps."
  • For Extreme Adjectives: Do NOT use very. Use absolutely instead.
    • Example: "I am absolutely convinced it's true." (NOT "very convinced")

How to Play

  • You will face 10 questions in a row.
  • Each question is timed! You only have 15 seconds to choose the right answer.
  • The faster you answer correctly, the more points you'll get.
  • Read each sentence carefully and pick the best adverb for the job.
