- Purpose: Why are they writing? (Usually in the first paragraph: "I am writing to inquire about...").
- Specific Details: Look for prices, schedules, or equipment needed (e.g., paintbrushes).
Part 4: Exam Tips for Thai Students
- Check the Time Words: If you see "Look!" or "Now," choose the -ing form (is/am/are + verb-ing).
- Check the Connector: If the blank is followed by a reason, use "because" or "as." If it is followed by a result, use "so."
- Modals:
- Is it dangerous? -> Must not.
- Is it just advice? -> Should.
- Is it a holiday/free time? -> Don't have to.
Take the practice test when you are ready.

Making Jewelry from Sea Glass
My name is Malee and I live near the beach in Rayong. Many people like to buy expensive gold or silver, but I prefer to make my own jewelry using things I find on the beach. My hobby is collecting "sea glass."
Sea glass is old glass from bottles that has been in the ocean for a long time. The water and sand make the glass smooth and cloudy. It takes many years to form. I wake up early and walk along the beach to find blue, green, and white pieces of glass.
I use this glass to make necklaces and earrings. I like this hobby because it is very relaxing and it cleans the beach. Also, I don't have to spend a lot of money on materials. Next month, I plan to sell my jewelry at the local farmer's market. I hope to save enough money to travel abroad to Japan next year.
