Learn how to describe food and order at a restaurant.

Food Vocabulary (คำศัพท์เกี่ยวกับอาหาร)

Let's learn some words to describe food. Click the sound icon to hear the word.

  • Sweet (หวาน): Tastes like sugar. Example: cake, ice cream.
  • Sour (เปรี้ยว): Tastes like a lemon. Example: green mango, lime.
  • Spicy (เผ็ด): Tastes hot, like chili. Example: som tum, tom yum goong.
  • Salty (เค็ม): Tastes like salt. Example: potato chips, fish sauce.
  • Delicious (อร่อย): Tastes very good.
  • Crispy (กรอบ): Hard and makes a sound when you eat it. Example: fried chicken.
