After school, Maria showed her friends around her house. They checked all the windows and doors, but everything seemed normal.

Sophie: "Maybe it was just your imagination. You were home alone and scared because of the storm."

Just then, they heard the sound again. It was coming from the attic.

Li: "Let's check up there."

Maria: "No way! That's too scary."

Sophie: "I'll go up. You guys wait here."

Sophie climbed up the ladder to the attic. After a few minutes, she came back down, holding a small radio.

Maria: "But who turned it on? No one goes up there..."
